  Bellevue Hospital Center

Bellevue Hospital Center is part of the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation, the largest public hospital system in the country. Bellevue’s interpreter services department uses a three-pronged approach to providing interpreter services, including a remote simultaneous medical interpreting service called Team- Technology Enhanced Medical Interpreting System (TEMIS). More than half of Bellevue’s patients prefer to communicate in a language other than English.
